The Accademia di Studi Storici Aldo Moro

The Accademia di Studi Storici Aldo Moro was born in 1983, on the initiative of Giancarlo Quaranta. It aims to promote public reflection on the topicality of Moro’s work and thinking in order to bring his life and experience within a historical context suitable to his figure, and redeeming it from the sphere of mere media coverage.

Over the years, the Accademia has promoted many initiatives geared to more deeply studying themes of particular political, scientific and cultural importance, also by broadly involving national and international exponents and scholars working in the fields of human and social sciences, politics, historiography, economics, law, theology and philosophy.
